bent or broken pushrod?

Default bent or broken pushrod?
ok is there any dead give aways if i have a broken/bent pushrod?? my car under accelerations feels funny and seems like a miss. any info would be great

When I broke mine, my SS sounded like a WRX with an exhaust accelerating & it was sputtering, but was barely goin' anywhere fast. Then my SES light came on & started flashing which after pluggin' in the scanner came up with a code for Cylinder 7 misfire detected & upon tearing into the engine, we found the pushrod in 2 pcs. resting above the pistons in the tray that covers the lifters. I hope that helps & make sure u check out the heads really good for damage done by the pushrod -Greg

It will sound like 8 weedwackers running with a loudmouth.....you will know if you have a bad pushrod.

well... i had a bent pushrod, failed lifter, spun a bearing in my water pump, and Rod Knock all at once...

imagine that sound...

I burnt out all of my rod bearings....imagine that sound.


Suprisingly...it made no noise, I didn't know I had a problem until I opened her up...
