spark plugs for H/C car?

ls1 H/C and all bolt-on, about 400rwhp. What spark plugs should I go with.? THANKS FOR ANY INFO.

I run Autolite193 plugs without any problems. My set-up is in my sig. Compression is about 11.0:1 running on regular pump gas.

I think I had mine gapped at either .45 or .55

NGKTR55s. I actually prefer Iridium, I ran them for 75k in my ls1 on sams and walmart gasoline and they were clean as can be, still gapped right.

On my LT1 car I ran TR-6 when going over 400 rwhp but with LS1's it seems like they are a lil more efficent, I plan on putting in a new set of TR-55's

Tell that to Ed Wright. He only runs Autolite plugs & hates NGK. He has had too many NGK plug failures & suggest against using them. And I tend to believe him since he has been in the game since before I could walk.

i just had some NGK TR55IX's they are called I believe put in... not sure what the difference is... when I get the car back in a couple months i'll let you guys know how i like em....

Autolites are made in the USA by Honeywell not Ford. NGK's are made in Japan by those two guys on the Wii commercial. Ive been using Autolite and Autolite race plugs for 27 years now with no failures attributed to the plugs. The only down side Ive seen with the Autolite plugs is selection and local stores don't seem to carry the race plugs
