Using a torque wrench is never a bad idea, especially when bolting into aluminum.

Yea I thought the same when I first opened my Stage 8's but I dug deeper to find that the Tear-drop lock feature is bent over about 1/4" from end on 4 of them to lock over the flange between primaries. Simple/effective design

We sell a lot of stage8 header bolts and have never had a complaint. They seem to be a great alternative-

I'm glad somebody came in that understands the attributes of the stage 8's. The problem is that sometimes you get a bunch of guys expressing their opinions when they have no idea what they are talking about. Regardless of what anyone says, the OEM bolts are a compromise in both holding and aesthetics.

The head studs are $250. and yes they are worth it. but stock will work. You can reuse the head studs.
