Default Hooking up gauges, what size adapter

Does anyone know what size adapter I need to hook up my engine temp sensor to a set of 5.3 heads? Is it a 10mm or 12mm to 1/8" npt?

I "think" it's 12MM, but don't bet the farm on it. I could be wrong.

We always drill and tap the top of the water pump. The sender can then be screwed directly in and it will be more accurate.

It is 12mm.. I drilled my out head to 1/4"npt. But some of the manufactors are now making adapters for there gauge senders.
