Default After air removal

I finally disconnected my air system and it got rid of all if the backfiring and crackling that my exhaust used to do which was so imbarassing. I'm hoping it improves my gas mileage i was getting 14mpg before i removed it.
The air system is garbage

Mine has been gone since my header install. It really cleans up the engine bay. What block off plates did you use?

The WS6 store plates only problem was the drivers side i had to double the gaskets because the bolts were to long to tighten it. I cant wait to get headers

Yeah just took off both AIR & EGR systems and the all crap must weigh between 10-12lbs. Not too bad removing, just a little time.

I never weighed mine, but recently removed them when I swaped to an LS6 intake and if nothing else it does make the engine bay look much cleaner. I think Titanws6 is about right though, somewhere in that range.

Removing the AIR system is not going to change your fuel economy at all. The system only runs for about 3-5 minutes when the car first starts up to raise temps in the cats faster.
