correct!!!! place i go to the tune is $400 and then any re-tune is only $200

Yeah; look for a place that will discount on retunes. The guy I use here retunes at a reasonable price and does a great job.

I think it certainly wouldn't hurt to have a tune. For me, there's nothing like thinking there is a little left in the car after installing something like LTs. Some cars don't seem to respond to a tune too much and others do, from what I've read about.

Well, since I'm about to drive it for almost 5000 miles over the course of about three weeks I think I'll get a tune, or at least try. If I don't have time I'm really glad to know that it won't hurt anything. Thanks a bunch.

My car was running really lean after installing lt's and true duals with no cats. I'm proud i got mine tuned.

I will be running cats but it'll be dual 3" high flow cats so they shouldn't restrict it much.
