HELP! Passenger side header
Ok, guys, having some serious issues with the passenger side, it's on, all bolts are in just not tight, header has slight bit of play, problem is it's really tuff to do it by yourself, i've tried holding on to it with rope from the top, etc.. but I just can't seem to line it up tight against the head, seems like the back and front part of the header is just curved and the back and front bolt get tight even though they're not all the way yet. I'm gonna ask a friend tomorrow to come and just hold it up while I tighten the bolts, any other tips on the passenger side???

Seems done to me, could not get a torque wrench in there so I pretty much got all the bolts in nice and snug. Here some pics, feel free to tell me if they look off or if it looks like it hasn't sealed, pay attention to the last bolt... I took the pic from the bottom of the car.

Yes they are, now that i'm relaxing I can see that the last bolt really looks out... I can't crank on it anymore with a small ratchet and can hardly fit anything else bigger on it from the top or the bottom.

Anyone else? Should take all the bolts back out and have someone push up on the header while I guide it into place and tighten the bolts or just crank on that one till it goes in a bit more??

second the loosen them all first and go from the middle out technique
doesn't take much torque either, 11ft/lb on the first pass, 18 on the second pass. I use studs on mine and never went with anything more than a speed wrench. I was able to put a torque wrench on the driver's side and get a feel for 11 ft/lb and 18 ft/lb. Without the leverage of a socket type wrench, using a little speed wrench with a few fingers it's really hard to torque up to 18ft/lb...

I'm gonna losen all the bolts and have someone hold it or something, might try tightening the last bolt first this time, i'll try variations, different bolt, etc... Maybe i'll stick a stocker back in there, more anti-seize.
