Default Help Alternator removal

I have a 2000 z28. I think i blew out the alternator. Ive taken all th obvious bolts off all around the alternator but still wont budge. Suggestions? Tips? thanks

There should be 2 bolts for the Alternator and another bolt for the bracket (3 total). Removing the bracket isn't a necessity but does make things easier to re-install.

There are 2 connections. One is a weather pack that is very difficult to see (you may have to feel around the top for it), and another is the ground (more easily seen). If you've got all of that covered, it should come off no problem.

Thank you. there was a hidden bolt that was behind the alternator i could not see until i pushed myself farther down the car. All done got it checked its bad so off to get a new one.

Yeah that one on the back will get ya. I just changed mine this weekend...what you think should be an easy task is a pain in the damn *** on these cars...no surprise tho i guess.
