Weiand intake, Yes or No. Alright, I have a Weiand LS intake here in my store. My car is a 98TA with stock heads and the stock LS1 intake w/ a small cam. I have searched and searched the last couple days and I have yet to find a definite answer. I'm seriously contemplating putting it on this weekend. Reason number one is that I can buy this thing for quite a bit less than a used LS6 intake would cost me. For those of you who have it, what kind of gains did you see? Did any of you show a loss? Any driveability issues?
I want answers from those who have seen either in person, not just hear say and I don't care what you say about heat soak. I've run 5.0 mustangs for years and they all had alum. intakes of course its gonna get warm when hot lapping one.

I already have it. I should have also mentioned I'm just contemplating running it as is. I'll port it possibly later on down the road, or just wait another month and it have done, then install it.
I really want to see how its done for other folks straight outta the box.

yep! my buddy just bought a 01 SOM SS so i think he'll be out . . . BUT i have to work at 1030 so i'll be out till 930 then off to work i go, you finally coming out to the strip?????
