I don't know about 2mpg, but my car, with 340hp/348tq, gets 18mpg city and 22hwy on the way to the track. Then I bust off a 11.40 pass, and then drive back home. The underdrive pulley will help with mpg, as well as other mods like exhaust, intake, and throttle body.

I've had mine almost a year and still haven't installed it. I'm scared of breaking the bolt.

search pulley install tool, and get an arp bolt to go along with it and you got it made in the shade

I did mine when I rebuilt my motor, so I didn't notice a power change due to the motor making more power anyway. so I really can't comment on that. but if it was really not worth it, why are so many people doing it with no complaints?
