Default Spark Plugs and Wires

I'm looking to change my spark plugs and wires, so I thought while am at it, I might as well upgrade them!!! What are the best performance plugs and wires??? I was thinking something along the lines of E3 plugs and MSD or Taylor wires! Thanks!!!!!

Go to WS6store.com for both they have a packaged deal for both. 8.5 super conductor MSD's and NGK plugs which ever ones you prefer, F1, Nitrous, or NA.

i decided against NGK plugs and went with the AC Delco Irridium plugs (sp?). Yes they are much more expensive and i doubt there is a real difference performance wise but i figure.. no jap **** on my car if I can help it

That post is the dumbest thing I have heard. You better disassemble your whole car then.

I have MSD's with TR6's. No complaints.

And what a shame it will be when you find out that NGK makes AC Delco irridiums.

Speaking of which, I just put a set of NGK irridiums in mine. Seem fine so far.

I have the AC iridiums on mine. They run really good. I just didnt go with the NGK because when i first got the car i didnt know much about different plugs for this engine so i just went with the AC's. Wonder how the grantelli's flow so much better then the MSD's? wonder if they have radio noise.

I had the granatelli's on my 99 LS1 and I could tell a difference over my old MSD's. They were great, I never had a problem with them, no radio noise. I vote for the TR55's

I sent an email to NGK tech support about which plugs to use and they advise cars making power above stock should use TR6s gapped at 45. They come gapped at 40. MSD wires. Daniel

ngk with taylor 10.4 wires...works well for me but im only at 350hp so it isn't like it's making a big difference there....there isn't a huge difference unless you are making the power for that extra spark but then you will be looking at more than just wires
