ls6 intake??

Well a friend of mine got an entire '04 z06 corvette engine from a local dealership and I made the comment "Oh you have an ls6 intake!" and I told him most people put them on thier Ls1's (this is before I got mine) and he said he checked the part number of that intake and one off of his other friends '98 trans am and said thier the same intake?

Thats what I said. I told him that the one off of the vette should be ls6 and the one from the T/A should be ls1. I actually wanted to buy the whole motor off of him for a good price since he got it free and put it in my T/A but I'm not going to.

i'm sure it was SLP part #30039, they still sell the #30041 with emissions. i bought mine almost 2 yrs ago. also check a gm parts and look for a vette intake. sorry, i check slps website and no luck. call slp with that part# and ask if still manufactured. slp phone# 732-349-2109.
i called SLP and they have discontinued this part. however i called summit and they have ONE left at $460. if you want it call 800-230-3030 ask for travis at ext 6852. part# SLE-30039. for 97-2000 vettes. no egr.
