Default How to spend $450-$500.

I'm trying to figure out what my next modification should be, my current mods are in my sig. I was thinking about some LTs, but I think they still might be a bit out of my price range. Anyone have any advice?

Mac headers /w offroad pipe. that would be great for the money.

Or try and swing a used $300 cam, $100 pushrods and used $100-150 springs.

If I were you, my next mod would be some suspension upgrades, STB, SFC's, LCA's, PHB.... My take on car modding to an even ratio between perfromance mods and suspension/appearence mods. That's just me though

Great. Now I have more questions to answer, these decisions are too hard to make. I drag race relatively frequently, but I do plan on running some road races in the future. I might just save up and wait to do headers.

Thanks for the replies,
Kevin

I got my Hooker LT's used for a little under 300 and a custom y-pipe for 150. Still need to put them on though. Can't wait.

You will be able to find a good deal on some used headers in the parts section, I would use your current money to get the used lt's, Then save some more and get a cam.

I like the idea of a gear swap. Trevor's getting a gear swap special lined out, drop him a email if you decide to do gears. trevor@texas-speed.com

Thanks for all the input guys . I might start to look at some 4.10s, and I'll keep an eye out in the parts for sale section for some used LTs.
