Gap for stock/TR55 = .060
Gap for FI/N2O/TR6 = .035-.038
But my TR6's are at .060 and I don't have any problems.
Its gotta be your plugs or wires... or coil packs? If not its your front O2's. It is something messing up the firing or a sensor funking up the computer. What kinda plugs do you use?

the same thing happened to me when i gutted my cats. i checked the codes at Autozone and i got P0171x2, P0161, and P1133. basically that ment that the rear 02's aren't reading what they would normally read with cats. so that ment my air/fuel mixture was off causing the engine to bogg and misfire, the check engine light to on and bluish smoke to come out of my exhaust. bluish smoke is the biggest indicator of running rich, so Congratulations, u are now running RICH
constant misfire will cause your head gaskets to eventually give. it even says it on our manuals. having your air/fuel mixture will also screw up your MPG.
once you get some 02 sims or havethe rear 02's tuned out, none of that stuff will happen anymore
this is from my experience. dont spend on wires or spark plugs until u do this cheaper route.
