Default Volant intake

Just a curious question, has anyone tried to stuff a Volant intake under a Raptor ramair hood? I was thinking of going to a Volant intake but I have a raptor hood. Any takers on this one?

i have it on a ws6. you could easily trim the plastic air box with regular scissors and make it work.

I am glad I found this thread. If you could PM me that would be great. I ordered the Volant intake for my 1997 Trans Am, and I have the Warbird hood, I think that is the one that came before the raptor. I hope the Volant will fit it. Here is my hood.

the difference I can see is the throttle body on the LT1 is oval and on the LS1 it is round so I don't know if I can connect the two pieces without finding some modded connector.
