How many did you screw up? If it's only one I think you'll be ok without it. I haven't replaced the back ones on any car I've worked on.

Yeah, thanks for the response and you're right, you can usually get away with one or even two. But I am going in there over the next month to replace the PCV hoses and valve, and find one noisy rocker, I thought while I had it apart I'd helicoil the cover threads.

Measure the threaded hole, figure the length, and go to the hardware store in the Metric hardware section and get some that look close, varying sizes so one will be it.
