Think i have a problem with the exhuast.. Im gonna be running 02 manifolds on my 99 trans am. I was looking for a y-pipe to fit. I dont know what y-pipe i can get that will fit the manifolds along with my car. SLP offers a 00-02..and says it'll fit a 98-99 model with some cutting and welding. Any ideas?

just go for a 98-99 set of manifolds man, with 01-02 manifolds you arn't going to have egr and the air tubes are going to be a in a different location...go with pacesetter lt, you will be happy you did in the end
Thats what i was thinking..there couldnt be any major difference between years with the y-pipes.
If your going to mount that Y-pipe to the stock manifolds, Bassani is where its at. If your going to re-do some headers I would try the XS Stainless headers on here, good buy...$75-$100 more than PaceSetters but they are Stainless steal, so they wont rust, and there is no chance of the coating to peel.
