2. The design similarities - including bends, locations of the welds, collector angle - indicates the same source.
The Ebay, XS, LLp headers, whatever you call em, are all using the Hooker design. Along with Flowtech, Edelbrock, and Jet Hott.

So all the ads on ebay are not XS headers. We believe someone has bought our headers and copied them. For this reason we are changing the name of the headers to our conpanys name. From now on our headers will be LPP (LaMonte Performance Parts) headers and exhaust. We will no longer sell them on ebay. We are in the process of setting up our own website which will be the only place you can buy our parts. If you want to check out what our new site will look like you can go to www.lpparts.com

Also we are in the process of adding more exhaust parts. We are working on a tru dual setup and also a cat back setup. Both of which will be made out of the same 321 polished stainless steel as the headers are. Before I get flooded with PM's it will be several months before these are ready to sell We are also working on LT1 headers and Y which should be out in the next month or so. We also are working on Full size GM pickup headers and Y.

Thanks,

Carl

I can't imagine any chinese made headers being this high of quality with the stainless steel. Anybody who introduces a new product into the market knows that you need to start at a low price to attract potential buyers to buy the product and then pass word of mouth. I know one of the 1st gen Camaro parts vendors has a lot of his own reproduction parts made here by US companies from original GM parts. He always starts with lower than normal prices to get people to buy the stuff and the quality is great so word of mouth increases sales and the price goes up to recoup the tooling costs. Most of these headers are copies of each other with slight differences. T321 stainless steel is not something most companies are willing to work with so it shouldn't be hard to figure out who is really making them.

I was informed before everyone of all this and when I asked they said it would be very similar to TSP's TD setup so im gonna say dumped with a choice of mufflers but stainless construction

well i just ordered a set of their headers tonight, but i would also like to know for sure if the TD's will be over the axle or dumped. i hope over the axle, because no exhaust shop around here will attempt to do it unless i supplied a pre-fabbed kit.

well I am going to have to go ahead and disagree on this one. Here is my take on it. The ebay headers I ordered a month ago said xs power on the box, north carolina address, as well as the set my friend got 2 days ago. S&S autochrome sold them on ebay for quite some time for $299, towards the end that even included a y-pipe. They disappear of ebay for a couple months then the sponsor shows up on here with the "race only" model for a couple hundred bucks more, which seemed like a crock to me but whatever. A month or so they start popping up on ebay again, $399 with a y, or you can still go to ssautochrome.com, and pay $575. I can take a pic of the box if you would like.

Chikity China da Chinese headers. And Roadmaster Speakers!! Im guessing since mine were hand made here in the USA in two weeks its taking several months for the order to get to china and a couple weeks to figure the conversion from US to metric. Plus the Chinese dont have a lot of experience laying big pipe. They are better at making lead painted toys. All this is the months before they are available.

Even if they are chinese...mines been on for a year, been through snow and rain, basic everyday driving, and they are still in perfect shape.

How big are the primaries? How are the Flanges? Collectors? Etc..I know they are a new company but how are they in comparision to other well priced headers? IE..Pacesetter, Flowtech, JetHot etc..? Not worried about the ORY, I'm getting a catted one so. Although the QTP's are pretty low priced right now...$688.00!!!

Ok Sorry guys I lost site of this thread. Didn't get any email updates to this thread for some reason.

This will be quite long but I'm going to address everything I can

Here we go.

There is a catted Y in the works but may be some time before it's out.

Sorry no pricing on the tru dual at this time.

The true dual will feature our own mufflers.

Deamon of Dreams:
Thanks for your post. We are trying hard to fix every problem that anyone had had with the XS headers before we brand them our own LPP headers. And still provide a higher quality product at a cheaper price than anything out there.

The redesigned headers and Y will be our own brand (LPP) and we will have exclusive rights to sell them.

The angle of the DS header was our first concern and has been fixed.

The tru duals will be dumped.

JL8JeFF
Thanks for you post to. At least some people understand were we are coming from.

SuperSlow02
Thanks for your post too.

Primaries are 1 3/4", Flanges are 3/8", and collectors are 3". Everything is 100% 321 Polished Stainless Steel.

I will keep an eye on this thread now and answer any questions anyone has.

Thanks,

Carl

well i just picked my headers up to today(they were sent to my dads work). and i can vouch for the quality of them. all the welds are very clean and look great, high quality. i havent put them on yet, so i cant say how they fit, but all in all, for the price, they cant be beat.
