I checked all my connections. And, I got a friend who can check the tps sensor, but he's working in the ice storm in oklahoma righ now, and it could be a while til he gets home! Bad Blue WS6 ported the tb and he says he did the bump stop mod conservitally (sorry for my spelling), so I don't think it's that! I'm supposed to have a guy come tune it soon, and I think he might be able to chase the problem down! At leasat I hope!

We drain the feul, because it has been sitting a while, and when we first drained it, there appeared to be a little brown stuff, but it cleared up shortly. Could the injectors be clogged, or it be flooded from us trying to start it so much?

did you swap the sensors from your old TB to the new one? some times in the iac gets dirty or wet it will mess you idle up. usally makes it really high. you can clean it with carb cleaner and a q tip.

Seeing as how Ive had the car for 2 months more isnt done. Thats ok because at the start of 08 some QTP headers and ORY are going in with some AFR heads, cam and a Fast 90/90 setup. I assume you have had your car for longer than 2 months.Thats ok, because I pointed out that your not funny you have to try and be a smart *** and you FAIL. Like I did say tho, I doubt it was his TB, he needs to check elsewhere...So please delete Internet Explorer from your computer and pick up another hobby.

I dont see the bump stop being an issue here,,its hand filed,,heres a pic of the actual TB,,,my needle meter pointed way in the safe range for this, and all other TB's that i sell. Same with the blade knife edging,,no "hog wild" stuff. If you were already running a code, and have sence done the next thing, put your stocker back on, and it's still having the same issues,,it has to be something else. I dont know how close you are to a Advance Auto,,but around my area, they will run your codes for free, they may even let you take the OBD home and bring it back to receive your codes in swap for your drivers license,,,,,I dont know. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

more of the actual TB

Heres the blade opened by hand, completely to the bump stop after completeing the hand filing,,

I just finished porting the throat and did te bumpstop to 4.70V and haven't had a problem. I was thinking about halving the shaft but I ground it down pretty good already. I also knife edged the blade but I might go back and do it a little more since it sounds like I still have some I can do. I haven't thrown a code or had any trouble though except for a little first-start idle hunting.

Good luck!

Well, my suspicions of being flooded were right. Put in some tr55 plugs and now she runs like a champ! The old ones were bad flooded and the previous owner has put tr6's in for some reason! So, the pptb is going back on! Thanks for all the help!!!!!

Fine work, wasting time on the keyboard may feel nice but you can't beat getting under the hood for results.
