Beat up header question

I have a set of kooks steep headers that have been smacked on the bottom and caved them in a little. I have them off for a head swap. I was going to send them to swain coatings. Should I worry about trying to fix the dents? Thanks Erik

you can always take it to someone that has the machinary to check to see if there is any hairline fractures that need to be welded...and how bad are the dents? are they bad enough to obstruct the flow?

Those are Stainless headers so you could save a little money and not coat them. But check the dents and make sure nothings broke or cracked.

The main dent I'm worried about is on the number 6 primary tube right before it comes into the collector. The dent is about 3 to 4" long and crushed in about a 1/4" . The coating I'm doing because I like it not that I need to do it.
