Duals Vs. Cat-Back

I used a QTP ORY (the Flowmaster Scavenger Y-merge collector is the key component) flowing into an SLP 2OTL ctaback and did not feel any SOTP loss from swapping out a 3" TD X on my heads/cam 460rwhp setup. A good Y-pipe/catback (read, merge collector Y-pipe) will flow nearly as well as a TD setup.
I did not have any back to back comparo between the Y vs. X, yet the Y setup did sustain a healthy increase in power when I swapped to a 90/90 setup.

i love my duals. Clearance isnt too bad. i am about to install some BMR springs and should have an ok amount of clearance. The sound is amazing, although being able to control your gear on a 6spd does make it easier to avoid any kind of drone.
I have had them for over a year and have had no problems. I will probably run them out the back under the axle with a set of corsa clone tips.

I just had my buddy run some duals for me today and he did quite the great job. They are over the axle so I gave up very little clearence and it sounds great. I'm actually running race mufflers and its louder at idle but doesn't sound any louder going down the highway, so it doesn't drone and drive ya crazy. It sounds great. I love it. Haven't heard a cat-back sound this good yet. Just thought I would share. So if anybody reading is trying to decide between the 2 you've got my vote for duals.
