REVIEW: Solid Motor Mounts.
I had poly trans / stock motor mounts for a couple years, and it was pretty crazy with vibrations. I just installed poly motor mounts over the weekend, and now it feels like stock again.
It's a mostly street car, but I think I would have been happy with solids, given the huge loss in vibration going from poly/stock to poly/poly.

While on the subject, what is your general concensus on solids in a 4.8 swap into a jeep wrangler? I'm leaning towards full solids, (motor and trans) but I'm wondering if it will make a difference off road? It will see about 95% pavement, so its not a huge concern, and in terms of vibrations, its a body-on-frame, so the cab is somewhat isolated by rubber mounts anyways...
Can anybody think of cons for that setup?
BTW I'll be fabbing the mounts be they solid or not... figure solid might be easier to fab.

I really don't have that much more vibration than I did before. Maybe I'm used to it. My motor was shaking pretty good with the procharger and I had to do something. These really calmed down the problem for me.
