Guys, there's nothing wrong with posting his experience. It seems everybody on this board is all happy about posting positive experiences, but whine like little pussies when somebody posts a negative experience. Let's let people post their experiences so we know who to order from and who to avoid.

Posting bad experiences is one thing, but I think this is more of a "i'm the center of the universe" situation. I'll be the first one to jump on a shop's case when they're wrong, but you're calling during a very hectic time of the year when people are supposed to be at homes at their family celebrating the holidays AND asking about a part that hasn't even been officially released. That sounds like a situation where you'd have to have some patience. The guys at TSP work hard to make some top notch parts and are great guys to deal with (I know from tons of personal experience with them and other sponsors on the board). They're trying to make this part so it works right the first time, every time, and some people on this board are hounding them because they haven't released more info on the part yet. I'm sure as soon as a price and release date are decided they'll be released by the proper representative (Jason) on this board. Sometimes you've got to remember that your build is not the most important thing in these guy's lives. If you want it that fast, go buy the lingenfelter one and try to get someone to help you over there when something goes wrong... I'll put money that those guys aren't nearly as willing to stay on the phone as Jason and the rest of the TSP crew. I know i'm willing to wait until they get everything set up right to order one for my build so I can continue dealing with such a straight up group of guys. Keep up the good work TSP!!!

He asked me what the car had done and I told him and he set the tune up and put it to load. He then chatted with me for a bit but went back to work to talk to customer's on phones. I didn't mind...I mean when your busy your busy. As I looked around the shop those phones were ringing non stop, I mean like constantly ringing from every office, desk, people's waists, I mean everywhere! And as I said everyone was talking to somebody on the phone. Ridiculously busy if you ask me! Keep in mind this was back in May so it wasn't even the holidays. I don't want to imagine what it's like now.

Sucks to be successful doesnt it? . I jokingly had to tell a guy that has my car that it's his fault my car is still in his shop because of his above standard work ethnics and that he needs to tone down his work standards.

Ya know I don't understand why a bunch of you guys a busting my *****. About 2 weeks ago I removed the induction system from my new 408, I only had a lid, Shaner stage 2 TB, and Whisper MAF ends. I got a Fast 90, NW TB and a Z06 MAF. Over a few days I ported the Fast and started to put things back together, well when I looked at the big difference between the NW TB and the Z06 MAF diameters, I decided to check out the 100mm MAF's available.

I considered SD tuning but my tuner in Florida, Mike Norris said "keep a MAF". Any way a week ago last Wednesday, Dec 19, I talked to Jon at TSP about the new MAF they were coming out with. He said Jason, the only one that knew the details, was out of the shop until the following Wednesday, but the housings were all they were lacking and they would be in that week.

So I figured the week of Christmas if TSP has their new MAF available and the price is better than the other 100mm's out there I'd give the order to TSP being a sponsor.

I called TSP Wednesday, Jason was with a customer, which is fine, held on the phone for 25 minutes, hung up and called back. I was told Jason would call me back before lunch, never did. I hung around the house all afternoon because I didn't want to call back and change the contact #.

I WANT to get my car back on the road. All I want to know is how much TSP is going to want for this new MAF, what the price is. Is that too much to ask???? If the price is right I'll keep the car down for another 2 weeks. Just let me know is going on. I am not the only one that wants to know the price.

You got some good buyer feedback. How would you feel if someone bought something from you and you were terribly busy and unable to ship it out or respond to them as fast as you should have. The buyer freaks and leaves you negative feedback even though you have no control over the situation. You explaned everything to them, got it to them still, and had good intentions the whole time. The buyer understands, but has already done the damage. And if you think one negative feedback based on a stupid problem or misunderstanding wont hurt your sales with other people, think again, cause i'm speaking from experience.

That stuff sticks with you, and believe it or not it tarnishes a good name. There's no need to blow a gasket when all you need to is use your head to evaluate the situation.

That's all I'm trying to say.

This thread is ridiculus. Yea, posting negative comments is great when it's needed. I won't say who it was but there was this one company that got hell because they used these big ol' bolts on the valley cover and tried bolting on the LS6 manifold back on. They busted the manifold and tried super glue. They also used some duct tape for a few "modifications" and had the car in the shop for months, according to the car owner. The dude that ran the shop never answered his calls and was a pain to get a hold of.

Something like that needs to be posted up. Why post up when it was one situation, one time, one call, one day and call it a ******* "TSP Meltdown". You sir, sound like a woman.

Jus' checked the Sponsor list and they aren't even on there anymore. It was Outlaw Motorsports that f*cked that guy over and it is in the Sponsor feedback forum.

Even being its still in the wrong forum. This thread has nothing to do with what he called to order. So that's what's wrong with it. He posted it in a more frequently visited section so that everybody would see it so as to really try and make them look bad. It should have been handled in a different manner. Where are the moderators?

Anywho the guys at TSP are really cool guys I dunno what's up with this, people just need to calm down, and I would give them a call next week after the holidays.

I was told buy Jon @ TSP that the 100MM Maf is a few weeks out. He also told me that pricing isn't set. He said the price would be around $250 to $300.

I dont see what all the fuss is about. Customer service is always important when it comes to running a business. I always get a few holiday employees because of the rise in business. When it comes to the holidays deadlines get tight and customers get needy. You have to compensate for this. And I would say that this is kind of in the right forum as in this is not only about CS but also about the 100mm MAF. And its not hard at all to find a few good workers for the season. Thats what a temp agency is for.

I have bought from TSP in the past and have nothing but great things to say about the service I received. You have to realize that there will be a lot of people trying to take off around the holidays so cut them some slack.

I think the main problem hear is the fact that you're asking for a set price on a product that isn't even out yet!

I don't know about TSP, but most companies like to keep things like that at least semi-under wraps until the product is completely finalized and ready to be mass produced/shipped.

Not to mention the fact that they're not exactly a HUGE company to begin with.......
