Re: SLP Air Lid Rubbing, HELP! Some people have put a little felt, tape or sump'n
on the hood rub spots. I have a big 1/4" clearance
on mine. Sliding the radiator support / air
cleaner base back a little might give you some
slack but only a little. I rat-tail-filed the
holes on mine to try for this but the angles are
not that great. Go too far back and the radiator
starts to flop around a little.
