? about a ls2 intake
#2
Yes LS2 intake will bolt straight onto LS1....ports line up as do all the fasteners into the heads but:
IMO unless you get the LS2 intake for free it's hardly worth the trouble.
LS2 intake has a 4 bolt 90mm inlet...so you need a new 90mmThrottle body to suit.
LS1 fuel rail will not bolt straight on without monkeying around with brackets and adapting because the bolt holes don't line up.
LS2 intake has different size injector bores....so you need different O injector rings.
LS2 MAF sensor is at the front...need to extend LS1 MAF wires.
The LS1 crossover steam pipes underneath the manifold probably will need to be changed out to LS2/LS6 style.
You'll need to make or have made a throttle cable bracket.
Apart from that the LS2 manifold barely or doesn't flow any better than an LS6 intake.
