MAF sensor question? Will an 02 sensor work on an 00 car?

MAF sensor question? Will an 02 sensor work on an 00 car? I have a bad MAF sensor on my 00 vette and my buddy has an extra but its off an 02. they are slightly different but wondering if anyone else has used them on their cars? If its possible I would like to know what needs to be done?

are the plugs the same? 5 wire? if they are i don't see why you couldn't plug it up...if it isn't, check into getting an adapter from speed inc
