home made smooth bellows
I want to make my own smooth bellows for my TA and I need a list of what to buy from home depot. I also need a short writeup on how to make and install it. This will be my first mod but I'll probablly be doing some of the free mods soon. TIA.

Re: home made smooth bellows
One of my buds made a custom one from the 3 inch rubber neck, or whatever the hell they're called, from Home Depot. You can get them from any hardware store really. As far mine, I used an intake pipe from a diesel truck (dad found one) Worked out good. The only thing you'll have trouble with is the fact the the TB is larger than the MAF, so there will be some "issues".

Re: home made smooth bellows
TIA-Thanks In Advance
Fernco is the name of the smooth rubber, in the plumbing section next to the large dia. pvc piping. 3" to 3", takes a little squeeze buts fits good. Not sure, but a buddy mentioned being careful when putting it on a car with a lid due to it not flexing. I installed one on my friends car and simply dremeled out part of the lower air box/cover.
