header installation question
i bought a set of full length long tube painted hedman headers. will there have to be some sort of custom exhaust fabrication for these to work? do you usually have to have something like that done with any long tube header? has anyone used these headers, or encountered any problem with them?

if they are like 90% of the other headers we use, a tsp ypipe should work with it, or a xpipe maybe....you shouldn't need custom work unless you can't get a y to match at all...

they ARE designed for the LS1 engine correct?
only real "modifications" that are needed may be with the AIR or EGR equipment, depending on if the headers came equipped with fittings. next thing would be the Ypipe. stock surely won't fit. so you'll either have to take a chance with an aftermarket one, have one custom built...or better yet go TDs

td's would work nicely like teke184 said, if they aren't "race" headers then you will need block off plates for your egr/air(assuming your car is a 98-00) if it is a 01-02, then you would just need air plates
