Default Whats your favorite muffler?

I'm wanting to switch mine up, but I don't want it too loud. I don't like the look of the pipes coming out the back, what muffler(s) could be used to really tone it down but not have to come up and over the axel?

Here's the current setup:
Hooker long tubes (no egr)
Lane’s true duals (18 inch twisters) - looking to get a muffler that will tone it down some. Any suggestions?

I had been a long term Dynomax fan. I usually put them on my high output big-blocks for a nice tone with excellent flow capabilities. However, due to the price of the Dynomax muffler and the price of the Spintech's, I have gone with the latter. Spintech's outflow almost any other muffler on the market! ANd the made the rest of my customer's big blocks sound better and healthier than the Dynomax.
Check 'em out...not really sure how they would sound on a LSX engine with one single muffler...

Corsa doesn't sell just a muffler. Just so you know.
I would have to vote for the Magnaflow but I would run them out the back. I have twisters out the back right now. Its a little loud but its not too bad. Its over the axle and the tips are welded right to the mufflers. Its actually a really nice setup but it can get a little old on a long trip.

it's loud as can be right now, just trying to figure out which of the 1 in 1 out type mufflers are the less offensive

Magnaflow is what my buddy uses on his true dual setup, and its ALOT quieter than mine, while still flowing VERY well.

Do you have a stock cam? If you have a cam with more than stock exhaust duration, I can pretty much guarantee you will love the Spintech's.

I gotcha...all you would need to do is run the exhaust all the way out the back...from reading above it sounds as if you have cut-offs. The Spintechs come in a variety of configurations so that you may choose what noise level you want, from street to all-out drag racing. I was simply making a suggestion so that you do not hurt performance by choking the engine so that you may use every ounce of power that the cam and engine is making. I suggest running a street muffler and the exhaust all the way out the back of the vehicle. This will eliminate that annoying resonance sound that you are probably experiencing with the duals stopping under the vehicle.

BTW-The cam choice that you have made is indeed a nice one!
