Hesitation / Bounce Problem HELP!!!!

Hesitation / Bounce Problem HELP!!!! I have a 2002 Z28 out of main warrenty but I do have a extended on the engine and tranny but I'd rather not take it in unless I HAVE TO since I used to have headers and every bolt on you can imagine and you can see that i have had theses mods.
Anyways, to my problem:
Under light load and idle the car sounds like and feels like it is misfiring but under WOT it runs like a champ with no hesitations. The slight hesitation isn't bad, you have to be listening for it to hear it. but when driving you can feel it. it kinda feels like a cam lope at times.
I figured that it has to be something with the Coil packs, wires or plugs.
Any other suggestions before i start spending money? Possible tranny problem or joints maybe?
I have a M6 with stock 3.42's
