Default ls6 intake and tb vs fast 90 mm

I have a s-10 ls6 and i would like to put some bolt on upgrades.

Do you think the fast intake is a good vs $$/hp.

Thanks

A 90/90 setup is expensive and you don't gain much unless you either have a big cam or a heads/cam combo as mentioned.

Don't need it unless your going with a 408 stroker or big block. Don't even really need it with big heads and cam. Go with the ls6 intake and TB. With the fast 90 setup you'll lose power through the bottom end and midrange.

you will benefit from 90 even if you only have bolt ons. BUT, it offers solid gains with H/C

you should try a search...

and its a LS1, not a 408. The FAST 90 was designed for the LS1 at first.

It can be that much. Serious mods will get you that kind of gain. I picked up 12 over LS6 but I run big cam and ported heads. It was worth a switch to me, but most ppl would frown on it.

It was worth it to me when with just a cam and bolt-ons. I added the 90/90 with an underdrive pulley and picked up 29RWHP/22RWTQ.

This 35rwhp gain was from a Mamo ported unit.
