I "knowingly" had it welded? I had no idea the y-pipe was going to be welded. Amazing that you know my life better than I do, because I know for a fact I never wanted it welded.

The y-pipe is temporary, anyway. I don't want my catback, either. It'll all be scraped soon enough. Regardless if it's welded or not, it's still nicer than prefab y-pipes.

That's the biggest problem, here. The ARH headers had HVMC's and still got outperformed by ancient Grot headers with standard collectors. Since ARH with HVMC's couldn't beat the standard Grot/QTP design, imagine what QTP's with HVMC's would do since new QTP's have been proven to make 5-10 horsepower over old QTP's for stock internals motors.
