Hey Personally I own these headers and I dont have any problems with them, everyone complains about ground clearence but, I dont have any problems with ground clearence. I think you would have been happy with them after you got them installed. The only complaint I had about them was they were a pita to put them in.
Thank God you didn't get the SLP's. They suck big ***!! You'll no doubt gain more power with the ones that you got (which I can't tell wat the hell they are).

For $200, I'd probably just install them. They are not SLP, but the SLP headers are ot great anyway. They have awefull ground clearance and you WILL smash the collectors on them.
Yes, they are the XS stainless headers. They are T321 stainless which is much better than the SLP T304 or T409 stainless. I understand they were mis-advertised, but did you ever look at the pictures of the headers before buying them? The SLP headers are the easiest to identify so you couldn't make the mistake unless you never did research. Regardless, try to get your money back if you don't want them, but like I said, they are better than the SLP headers. No ground clearance problems like the SLP's. The picture posted earlier of the $179 Ebay headers are not the T321 stainless headers which is why they are $179 instead of $400 or more. If you really want SLP headers, just post a wanted ad. There's a lot of guys wanting to get rid of theirs.

They look a lot like the QTP headers with emisions, either way, I'd say you should just mount them up and go. You're not likely to get anything close to that price that's better, and as long as they're quality, what's it matter?
Well if you guys say they are good, you all know more than me. Whats the best way to clean them out, do they sell large pipe cleaners or any type of spray for the inside?

I've heard the same thing. My buddy has them on his Z and he said he had to jack up the motor tight against the firewall. What a pain in the ***......I'm going with QTP's, a day of work & all you gotta do is pull the oil filter.
be thankful, i have heard bad things about the slp headers. try to get some money back and call it a win. the slp's hang super low and are a biach to install. i am just going off of other posts on this board though. they are definately not slp's. most branded headers have something saying who made them, my bet is xs cheapy headers. which a lot of people use with success but not worth slp $$$.
