Wrong...do a search for dyno results. Blowmaster does rob a good amount of horsepower versus a well flowing exhaust like Magnaflow. IIRC it's at least 10RWHP.

I agree, Flowmaster is definately not the master of flow. Maganflow wins over flowmaster hands down.

On a side note, with the magnaflow exhaust I picked up a tenth in the 1/4 and 2 mph with a cutout open. So even the magnaflow is somewhat restrictive.

I have had my magnaflow for awhile now. I like the sound of it. I converted it to the CME style and the sound did change a little. I think it sounds a little better. Its worth the price.

Just checked my invoice from Marylandspeed on the Magnaflow catback I purchased back in Nov. $384.95 total (no shipping charges) The ad on the site says like $450 something and regular price $495. Right below that price is a green box that says to click here for savings, when you do so you will see the reduced price.

LOL right. At my power level the Flowmaster catback is about a 20rwhp loss. There are many people that have shown the same result I have, its enough to be felt. On a completely stock car all catbacks are close enough in power that the difference is negligable. The flowmaster catback sounds alright, but there are better flowing catbacks that sound better in the same price range. Hooker and Magnaflow to name a couple.

I had just the muffler I think it's part #12267 on both my '95 and '01 formula's..saved some money. By the way, the magnaflow has a straight thru design..

I would go with just the muffler, got one for like 90 bucks and they charged 20 to put it in, pretty cheap.
