the only significant heads and intake from a corvette (LS6) wouldnt even get him 410 to the flywheel... WE-TOODDD-ID

Get him to correct himself one more time and say he's adding heads, intake and a cam and most will then agree with him.

As far as the LS6 intake goes I would agree with the guys with dyno results which do vary but 10hp is a good number and even higher with a cam and bolt-ons.

As long as the parts are bought to work together, with better flowing heads, cam, intake swap and a tune(got to tune it if you change so many variables) he will gain up to 100hp over stock.

I put a ls6 intake and the heads and lt's from my sig below and you can see my dyno numbers after the swap.
car was bone stock before, other than a 3.73 gear swap.

100 HP?

Maybe he thinks his LS1 came from the factory with 305 HP like it usually says instead of the 350-360 they really have... then with some LS6 heads and that intake maybe he will be close to that 410 HP but not RWHP of course...prolly closer to 390? Throw the LS6 cam in and your friend will about be there?

I did a before and after when I went from the ls1 to the ls6 intake, on a 2000 SS m6, dyno showed 8.2 hp and 2.1 tq at the rear wheels.

ORY, lid, 85 maf only mods at the time.
