Well how much quieter are 12" SF's from 10" bullets? DB wise?

i did the exact same thing, i went from bullets to spiraflows.... and i LOVE it. It took care of all the rasp and the drone on the freeway, plus i can actually hold a conversation inside my car now. The sound is more refine and it sounds really good alot deeper

Maybe I'm just different but the only time I ever have the smell (or at least the only time I notice it) is when I pull into the garage and the car runs a few seconds. Then it stinks. Other than that, no complaints. Cats could only help IMO, that is, if the smell is obnoxious to begin with. Is the car tuned? When mine was tuned it helped considerably.

Spiral Flows, I had to wait for TSP to get some more in (took a month or so) when I ordered my exhaust a couple years ago and am soooo glad I waited, nothing sounds better IMO.

so to get the SF's i have to cut off my 10" bullets, and re-weld in the spirals? what if i go with the 12", will i have to reweld the hangers in a diff spot?

That's hard to say without seeing your system. Moving the hangers isn't really a big deal though if you have to.

The spiral flows rock! I was considering using bullets because of the space constraint under our cars until I heard a friend's car with a Spiral Flow in his loumouth and I friggin loved it. I'd never consider going with the bullets or any other glass pack after having my Spiral Flows.

I'm running the same set up on my 01 Formula. I'm using a BMR crossmember mount, 3" duals with an X-pipe, over the axle and out through Spiral Flows and hung from the stock hangers. I just did an x-pipe system on another car (transamws6_97) through a UMI crossmember a couple weeks ago.

Damn right. I've got them too. Don't count out sweet thunder chambered mufflers. They sound good too. Here is a clip of my friend's old trans am with TSP true duals and sweet thunders. http://media.putfile.com/Jimmys-Trans-Am
