Intake manifolds
My buddy Bill (ONEBADWS6) ported it. Look a few posts up. It wouldn't be worth it on a LS1 intake manifold. There isn't much to port on those. If you are staying with the stock size TB, I would go with a LS6. But if you are going 90mm, the ported LS2 saves you hundreds of dollars and performs better than a Fast 90.
Thanks for the reply. Here's a pic of what the gutted & smoothed interior looks like in my LS2 intake. Is this pretty much what you guys have done?
I read that the advantages of the Street Warrior Weind were created by removing the internal supports & by trumpeting the internal runners. That's pretty much what my LS2 porting has done.
Am pretty much tired of Weiand changing their release dates for the Street Warrior. So, I'm going back to the LS2 before this year's dyno tune. My interest is mostly in below the curve power increases because my car is a road course driver & needs the power from between 3200 & 5600.
