Thanks for the links. I have been searching & haven't found a link comparing the LS6 to the LS2. There isn't one in the stickies. Maybe the moderators can add these links. Granted, different set-ups & tuning may yield different results. However, I've seen enough to axe my LS2 intake. We were going to run a comparison against my Weiand in the Spring, but, I see no need to do so now.
Let's see the numbers. My LS2 is ported & internally filled & smoothed for maximum efficiency. However, I haven't seen evidence to prove that it out flows even an LS6. Further, I have seen dyno sheets that actually show a loss in torque & power early on in the run (low RPM). I would be very interested in your data. Please post more information. Thanks
This is a what I based my decision on to send my ls6 intake off to tpis to make it a 90mm with a 90 tb.
NOW If I had a ls1 intake I would spend the money on the fast because in the end if you buy a ls6 intake for 400 or so and send it off in the ends its the same caust as a FAST.
Another thing is if you plan on using nitrous and how much if you plan on alot get a strong intake thats not going to blow up the Fasts have been know to do that even though they are alot stonger than the ls6, But somthing made of Aluminum would be a good choice if you were planing on alot of nitrous.
