First you need to jack the car high as hell! Alot of guys have difffernt ways of mounting long tubes. The passengers side was easy for me when I did a friend of mine. But the driver side I had to remove the steering joint and that little plate next to the oil filter its for the cooler line wich comes on the vette. It should be 2 10mm bolts. then the plate comes right off oh and to make it easy take out your plugs and remove your coil packs. Plus you will need somebody to hold the header while threading the bolts or you may cross them. what help me the most is getting the car high enough that you can lay the header parell to the bottom of the car. The passenger side is best if you go at a slant angel and up the driver side can be done the same way.

The driver side will be the hardest. Get the car high and try to remove things like the oil filter and oil drain plug, we found it easiest that way.

When we did mine we unhooked the steering linkage and that was it. The drivers side slid right in without any fighting. The hardest thing was getting the old manifold out on the drivers side. My Pacesetter install was cake. I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was. Good luck with it. Hopefully you will have a buddy helping you.

Like stated above, lift the car as high as possable. The driver side was the easiest on mine. However i did have to do the passenger side multiple times because the header was rubbing on the K-member. A little grinding fixed that problem. Other than than it was a breeze. It will run fine without a tune. Since you are running an ory your SES light will be on. I recommend to get a tune afterwards to get the full power out of your mod

I did my pacesetters last night with the tsp rumbler and the only trouble I had was the k-member. So five minutes later with a grinder the drivers side went right in. I guess one other problem I had was getting the header bolt on the passenger side in the back tight. Anybody have suggestions on how to get that tight?

Keep us updated im doing to do an install with a buddie of mine when it warms up out by me.
Do a search for pacestter install and you will get so much info its crazy but only look for the newer threads as the older ones are the headers that didnt fit very well from what I have read

Wow u guys had that much problems with pacesetter? I must have been a lucky one then, had a buddy help simply took the manifolds off and literally in 2 mins or less for each side to get the header back up and ready to bolt up. Took more time unbolting the manifolds than installing the LT's and ORY.
