2001 Advertised HP output was changed from 305 to 310 on base LS1s and from 320 to 325 on WS6s and SSs

2002 A factory supported optional 345 HP option could be ordered from SLP

Advertised numbers are a crock I think they were all around 335 stock.

The SS or WS6 doesnt even have any more power than the base Z28 models it just came with a handling package and a bogus "ram air" hood (SS).

310 "advertised" but they are known to put down 290 to 310 rwhp so they are underrated.

Looking to buy one or looking to race one? If you were to race one you would need full bolt ons and a 100 shot just to hang with a ls1 with a cat back and lid.

Better yet, Cut a hole in your driverside floorpan in order to mash the pedal further! All in fun!

Bottom line, they all have LS1. The same LS1 you'll find in C5 Vette that is rated 345-350 bhp.

they also had the 853's,,,so i guess if they did have the bigger cam, it didnt make much difference.
