will a z06 maf

z06 maf fit on my 2002 chevy camaro the z06 is same year

dont quote me on this but im pretty sure it does. Also i think the stock Z06 MAF is a little bit bigger then the camaro stockers. Maybe someone else could help and fill me in

Yes it fits fine. They come with a rubber adapter (if bought new) to go over the lid. It fits with the stock bellows fine. And it's 85mm.

You will need a 3 wire to 5 wire MAF adaptor harness (click here) and a tune to update the MAF table with the correct parameters for a 2002 Z06 MAF.

so what are the benifets of doing this ... I understand eveyone says that there is no need to do this as the stocker will allow up 500 hp , but everyone is doiing it so what is the benefit?
