Know anything about this car part? saw someone had an icebox for sale by vortech that goes where your battery goes and you put the battery somewhere else, just wondering if anyone has one, what good it does, and what possitives and negatives if any come out of it!! Thanks!!

Re: Know anything about this car part? It's called an aftercooler, and it cools down the air so that you make a lot more power. The idea is to put in ice water just before you make a quarter mile run, although even once the ice melts, the aftercooler still provides more power than it would without it. It only works with a Vortech supercharger though.
