Default Possible to replace the stock oil pressure sensor with the autometer sending unit?

This is for my 93 Rx7 and I can't use the stock sensor, I have an autometer electric oil pressure guage/sender and was wondering if there was a way to have it put into the factory location?

Yes, Autometer makes an adapter that goes from the factory hole to 1/8 NPT. I run a mechanical line, so I can not comment if the electric sender will clear the intake manifold.

seems like, if I can get a 45* adapter in there it would work. Can you run a mechanical oil pressure gauge inside a car?

Sure, tons of people do. I myself would never use anything other than steel braided line though, copper can fatigue/break and the nylon line is just worthless.

Your not very bright are you? Theres no 1 size fits all brass fittings, I dont know when you bought the fitting there was a male size and a female size you had to use. If your going to be a useless smartass please stay out of my thread.

dont run a mechanical oil into the cabin. Go with electric. Alot of tracks will fail you on tech if they find out you have a mechanical oil gauge in the car
