that bassani was installed in 2003, and was several years old....so the design could easily have changed.

I have the catted Y, not ORY, but that doesn't look right. Check the part #. Should be 57002. If it's F570102 then you got the pipe for their headers.

it is F570102. i checked on the box. i got the y on ebay for a pretty good price, but it said on the auction it would bolt up to stock manifolds. i checked bassani's website as well and it says the y is for bassani headers and stock manifolds w/ no cats, but it doesnt look like it would fit the stock manifolds as they have 3 bolt flange. hmmm......

Yep, that's the wrong pipe for stock manifolds. I just noticed the flanges. They should be welded in place. Those look like they fit the ball flanges on the Bassani headers. You need #57002.

well i got my exchange in today... really good people to deal with over at bassani. it turns out that their website was wrong, it had said that part F570102 would indeed bolt up to the stock manifolds, when in reality it wont. they sent me the correct Y, part 57002 to bolt up to the stock manifolds, and i just recieved it today! time to get it put on.... i'll have some pics of it installed in a few weeks!

i finally had this thing installed after sitting in the garage for months. It did have to be tweaked a little, but the thing fits pretty good and seems to clear everything.

What are the gains with this setup using stock manifolds? Also, why didn't you go with headers when installing the Y? Just curious. I am in the process of trying to get headers and a Y for my car. Thanks
