Default hooker LT help...quick!

I'm in the middle of my Hooker long-tube headers install. I've already snapped a bolt inside the head and had it removed. The dealership said the factory bolts with the Hooker washers were too long. The bolts were bottoming out. Should I use the factory bolts and washers as the instructions say or use the Hooker bolts? Any help is appreciated.

Interesting... I reused my original bolts, and they didn't bottom out.. run a bolt all the way down without the header and see how much depth you're working with..

Could it be possible that certain years have different length bolts?
