Exhaust question I have a 99 Trans am that i am putting stock exhaust back on, my question is are the 00 manifolds the same as the 98-99 ones, i know the y pipes are different, but from looking at several pictures the manifolds look the same other than the difference in material they are maid of. i need to know asap. Thanks ls1techies
I believe the 98-99 manifolds had the 3-bolt flange on the driver's side and the ball joint on the pass side. the 00-02 manifolds had 3-bolt flanges on both sides. If you get the y pipe for the respective manifolds I believe they bolt up correctly to the block and y-pipe hanger.
