Quick question... does the Y match up to my pacesetter headers?

We are not sure. They are specifically designed for Hooker long tube headers. Perhaps another forum member knows?

Here is the text from the Mufflex catalog:

LS1Y-3
New Off Road Y Pipe for Hooker Long Tube that fit the LS1 F Body Cars from 1998 to 2002. This new Y Pipe is a Dual 3" to a 4" Flowmaster Racing "Y" Collector. This 4" Collector can be fashioned to a 3" Cat Back System ( All Brands ) using our R-300-400 Reducer.

I bet it will not align as well as you want it. If you do choose to go Mufflex I would opt for having a y-pipe fabbed up at any local exhaust shop. It will really help with having that 3"-3 1/2" - 4" merge collector to adapt to the Mufflex y-back. Otherwise you run into clearance issues. That was what I did with mine. I am going to find those damn pictures!

and if the y fits hookers then theres a good chance it will fit pacesetters. if not it would only take MINOR work to get it to adapt to the pacesetters.

Thanks for the pictures Orange. I REALLY want to go this way... all of it. But the issue with the Y pipe matching up to my pacesetters is my only concern.

I checked around and there are no mandrel benders anywhere near by. I was thinkin about using my pacesetter Y pipe and purchasing a flowmaster merge and a 4" cutout but the idea of a crush-bent pipe mating up to a flowmaster merge just seems retarted. How well do yall think that a shop could cut and weld a Flowmaster merge into my Y pipe if I purchased some premade mandrel bends from summit?
