Default fast intake ?

ok guys i know this is a dumb question for you but i just want to be 100% positive before i buy this stuff. when you buy the fast 90 intake you cant use your stock tb right. you will have to get a 90mm intake correct. please let me know if im right or wrong. thanks...

you are correct sir. you will need a 90mm tb.

if you get the 90mm intake you will need a 90mm tb it wouldnt make sence to put a 75mm tb on a 90mm intake you will like thw set up when all said and done

ok thanks guys i just wanted to make sure. what kind of difference do you think i will notice with doing this mod? the only other thing that is done is slp lid with flowmaster exhaust

I think you will notice more power and a quicker throttle.

If you have a stock engine and no bolts on, you wont see any gains. BUT, with H/C/I, its worth it. Get a LS6 if you have minor bolts on.

He is right, the FAST really shines with the rest of the restrictions opened up. The motor is a big air pump & is only as good as the flow lets it be.

Heres the TB I suggest: But in the 90mm size.

yeah i plan on getting a cam and head combo but not until winter. its the kit in summits magazine for the trick flow package. i will look into that rev throttle body. but when i clicked on your link www.revxtreme.com i saw the catch can kit. what exaclty is that and what would it benifit to have.. thanks again guys

Preventing oil vapors from entering the intake manifold is a common problem with built LS motors. The oil mist causes detonation & loss of power and the catch can is a very effective mod thats easy to install. The RevXtreme catch can utilizes a perforated downtube to help disperse the crank case vapors over the entire inner surface for maximum condensation & seperation. Simply plumb inline between your vacum outlet on the intake manifold & the breather system.
