should i be? i picked up the o2 extensions from ws6 store and they seem fine . . . did anyone put the heat shields back on their plugs after the header install?

I reused my heat shields for my plugs after I installed hooker LT.

I reused mine, although a couple of the MSD plug wires were a tight fit for me.

i took the metal sleeves off. all they do is cook your boots. thats why the stupid stock ones always rip!

I ain't running the metal sleeves either..

DOES ANYONE HAVE A HEAT WRAP ON THEIR STARTER??? I did this las weekend to prevent my starter from going out sooner

it's just a wrap but I'm not sure if it's worth it since I just put it on. I think it was $30 but I went with it since these starters/alternators are exp. and keeps it cooler. I shall see

cool. i wasnt sure cuz i heard wrap like that actually makes it absorb heat then cook whatever is on the other side. but im not sure. it was just something i remember hearing. prolly wrong.

mk, so i came across this today while i went to advanced auto, they checked my codes and saw that my car had a misfire..so i was like WTF? lame. so i checked the engine out and theres a wire right on a header pipe, so i moved it so it wasnt hitting it and it stopped pulling that code - maybe same? idk.
