Default Car sputtering

I had lt's installed, plugs & wires almost a month ago and as of yesterday when i turn it on and start driiving for awhile it starts sputtering. I haven't had one problem since but my battery. I know possible bad 02's, loose plugs wires... My SES light started blinking this morning to work but only for awhile then it goes away and car drives fine.

What do ya think??

ses blinkin is a misfire, check your plugs and wires again and also if you can check your knock sensors . . . sputterin like almost backfiring?

no backfiring... just hesitates to run good and once I step on gas it really doesn't want to take off. It sputters for a lil and then goes away and car drives good!!!

sounds like a misfire. and the sputtering sounds like it mite be the 02s going bad. did you put any 110 octane or something in it? bring it by lethal so sean can check out. they should beable to hook u up.

I always put premium in it.. Should I stop by AZ and check the codes?? Also about the misfire, do I need to check to see if the plugs are loose or what?? Not sure bro

Sounds like a misfire. The exact same thing happened to me when i did my LT's and it ended up being a loose plug wire, it would do the sputtering thing when you tried to get on it.

The problem definately sounds like a misfire. After I had my LTs installed mine did the same thing a couple weeks later. I noticed it while driving through a major rain storm. The code read "random cylinder misfire". At first I thought it was the plugs or some bad gas, so I replaced the plugs and wires and ran some injector cleaner through it... Problem not fixed It still missed for about two weeks or so. Eventually it stopped?? ...for about 6months. Now its started back again while driving through heavy rain again. So now im thinkin its gettin moisture somewhere and just might dry out over time. Is in the third different shop now and we still can't find the problem. Plugs? Moisture? What you guys think??

Here's what I'd do:

1. Check and make sure none of your plug wires are loose, or have been burnt due to the LTs
2. O2 Sensors
3. Fuel pressure check - could be fuel pump going bad.

What about the o2 sensors? I know im missing the back two since I got my LTs put on. Are they suposed to be there, cuz i read somewhere that you don't need them. I do think it is causing it to run rich without them?

got the car scanned at AZ and it brought up Bank 1 sensor 2... Had a buddy del the codes for the rear 02 and it seems only when I start up the car it sputters or hesitates temporarily and it goes away . I guess it's taking awhile for one of the 02s to heat up. Not sure. He has the HPTuner so he got some weird play on my front left 02 while I was driving it. He supposed to find out what the issue could be on here so I'll follow up during the week.

Other than that the car drives fine after it heats up

Like I stated earlier mine does the same exact thing and the problem comes and goes so it is hard to locate. Seems funny though, both times it acted up I was driving in heavy rain. When did you notice yours? Just one day after you started it up? ...Just keep us posted and let us know.

if you started feelin it in heavy rain its your 02s that got wet. once they dry up compleatly your car will run better. and darkhorse it seems like something iz alil off when your in open loop. "car is cold" try hookin it up to tunerz when car is cold. id also change out the 02s if you havnt already.

Lets hope thats all it is, just the o2 sensors. I would hate to have to replace the coil pack or sumthin like that! Thanks for the input.

replaced the driver side o2 senser and all is fine now.. NO sputtering!!!

I got the bosch 13111 since the ones I had on before were spliced since I didn't have the vette 02's when I did the install initially. Now when i get paid again i'll replace the passenger side o2 to avoid this reoccuring later.
